From Skeptic to Believer
Before getting married, my wife suggested we try relationship quizzes together. At first, I thought it was unnecessary, we knew each other well enough, right?
But after working through the questions, I realized how valuable these conversations were. Topics I'd never thought to discuss came up naturally: our views on finances, family planning, career priorities, and how we'd handle disagreements. These weren't just quiz questions, they were doorways to deeper understanding.
We used PDF questionnaires we found online, but the experience was clunky. Printing pages, comparing answers manually, trying to keep track of where we left off. As a software developer, I searched for an app that did this well, and couldn't find one.
So I built Before Yes: the app I wished existed when I was preparing for marriage.
Today, Before Yes helps couples have the conversations that matter most, whether you're exploring your own readiness or discovering where you and your partner align (and where you might need to talk more).
